AVAILABLE FUNDING

Our partners provide designated courses, enabling eligible full-time Home/EU students to receive financial support from Student Finance England in the form of a loan, grant, or both.

A maintenance allowance may also be available to Home/EU students, depending on individual circumstances. This support is offered to students enrolled in full-time programmes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Am I eligible for funding?

Home/EU students with permanent residency in the UK are eligible for funding through Student Finance England. Applicants should check eligibility before starting their course.

How much funding is available to me?

If you are eligible, Student Finance England will generally cover the full tuition fee of your course, currently up to £9,535 per academic year for full-time undergraduate courses.

What about living costs?

For the 2025/26 academic year, maximum maintenance loans are approximately:

  • Up to £8,877 if you live with your parents

  • Up to £10,544 if you live away from home (outside London)

  • Up to £13,762 if you live away from home in London

How do I apply?

Our team is here to support you throughout your finance application, we can explain different support options, guide you through the application, and liaise with Student Finance on your behalf if needed.

When will I have to repay?

If you take out a loan, you’ll need to repay it. Grants do not need to be repaid. For courses starting from August 2023, most students will be on Plan 5. Repayments start from the April after you leave (or graduate) and once your income exceeds £25,000 per year.

You repay 9% of any annual income earned above that threshold. For example, if you earn £30,000 a year, you would repay 9% of £5,000 , that’s £450 per year (≈ £37.50/month)

Can I receive childcare or disability-related funding?

Yes. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for extra financial support, including the Childcare Grant, Parents’ Learning Allowance (PLA), and the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA).

These forms of support do not usually need to be repaid and are designed to help with childcare costs, study-related expenses, and disability-related needs. You can find full details on the official GOV.UK website
