LLB Law

The LLB (Hons) Law degree is ideal if you aspire to become a solicitor or barrister. As a Bachelor of Laws, it is equivalent to a BA or BSc and provides the essential foundation for careers in the legal sector as well as in areas such as journalism, politics, policing, teaching and many more.

Delivered both at our UK study centres and fully online, the course covers the core foundations of legal knowledge and reflects current professional qualification routes. You can choose from three focused pathways to support your goals.

SQE (Solicitor) pathway


This pathway prepares you with the core knowledge and skills needed for the SQE1 assessment, with opportunities to study additional elective modules.

​

Bar (Barrister) pathway


This pathway is designed for students aiming to qualify as a barrister and includes EU Law along with other subjects required by the Bar Standards Board, plus elective options.

​

International Bar pathway


This pathway offers a global curriculum for those interested in practising law internationally. It follows a set syllabus and concludes with the Legal Dissertation module.

Throughout the degree you will develop valuable skills including critical thinking, communication, research, negotiation and problem solving, all of which are highly respected across a wide range of professions.
